巧克力糖衣榛果

I've been picking at these all afternoon and they're dangerously moreish—the hazelnuts from Piedmont really do taste fresher than the usual ones I find at the supermarket. The caramelized shell gives just the right amount of crunch before giving way to that soft, nutty center.

The caramelized coating shatters just right before you hit that whole Piedmont hazelnut inside. I've been rationing the bag so it lasts past the weekend.

I wasn't expecting the hazelnuts to taste this fresh, and apparently they're sourced straight from Piedmont, which explains the depth of flavor. The chocolate shell is thin enough that it snaps cleanly without hiding the nut inside. Gone through half the bag in two days.
