ペカンパイ・ドラジェ

These are way bigger and more buttery than the little grocery store ones, with a surprisingly delicate chocolate shell hiding a salty crunch inside. I already polished off half the bag in one sitting.

I expected a generic nut candy and got something that tastes like an actual slice of pecan pie, gooey center and all. The chocolate shell snaps clean and isn't too sweet, so the caramelized pecans really come through.

The pecan flavor actually tastes toasted and buttery instead of just sweet, and the chocolate shell snaps cleanly when you bite in. I've been keeping a few in my desk drawer for the afternoon slump and they disappear way too fast.
